How to import historical trades

You can bulk import your historical buy and sell trades from Directa in to Sharesight by uploading a spreadsheet. For step-by-step instructions on how to bulk import your historical trades, please follow the steps below.

1 - Login to the LIBERA version of the web GUI of Directa

2 - Select the INVESTIMENTI view on the top tab.

3 - Select ORDINI on the left side.

4 - Select ESEGUITI to filter only executed orders.

5 - Click the spreadsheet icon and select xlsx or csv as export type.

6 - In Sharesight, click on 'Import from a Broker' tile.

7 - Search and Select 'Directa'.

8 - Upload the CSV file into Directa broker tile.

7 - Once you have verified the trade data, click ‘Finish and Import All’.

Once the trades are saved, your Sharesight portfolio will be populated and the portfolio overview page will load.

Your holdings will be calculated with Sharesight’s performance calculation methodology which is a money-weighted return methodology, meaning the performance figures take account of the size and timing of cash flows.

Sharesight will automatically create dividends and corporate actions for the holdings you have imported.
