He also interviews other young investors who are on their way to reaching financial independence, as well as industry leaders such as best-selling author Peter Thornhill and Sharesight’s own Doug Morris.
2. The Australian Investors Podcast

4. Equity Mates
Equity Mates is hosted by Bryce and Alec, two young Aussies who aim to be the #1 podcast for beginner investors by unpacking the world of investing, “from beginning to dividend”. Jump right in, or start by listening to their essential “basic 101” episodes, before digging into their interviews with expert investors.
5. Freakonomics Radio
Freakonomics Radio is the award-winning podcast hosted by one of the writers of the book of the same name. Overall, the podcast covers broad socio-economic topics, and explores the “hidden side of everything”. And while the podcast isn’t focused on investing, the episode entitled “The stupidest thing you can do with your money” was especially popular when it came out in mid-2017.
6. The Money Cafe
The Money Cafe is hosted by two of Australia’s most renowned finance journalists: Alan Kohler and James Kirby. Together, they talk about the week’s finance news. As stated on The Money Cafe webpage: “Alan Kohler and James Kirby have enjoyed a long and fruitful working career that has evolved into a charming friendship. So in addition to analysing the news that matters, they pull no punches when it comes to questioning each others opinions.”
7. Planet Money

His podcast focuses on basic investing principles, including a great series on behavioural economics. He also interviews industry leaders such as ex Finance Minister Lindsay Tanner.
9. Shares for Beginners

10. Your Wealth
Your Wealth is hosted by NAB’s Gemma Dale. The weekly series outlines strategies to build your wealth by investing. Recent topics include the inverted yield curve, small cap investing, and global debt markets.
